For such a tiny island, this car-free and carefree Class A reserve packs a lot of pleasure into a day. On its shores, 63 stunning beaches, 20 beautiful bays and many coral reefs and wrecks invite you to enjoy some of Australia’s finest swimming spots, snorkel trails and surf breaks. On dry land, you’ll meet the cutest mini marsupial, found only in Western Australia, the world-famous quokka, as well as many unique plant and animal species.

ITINERARY

Day 1 Quokkas Delight – Rottnest Island

After pick-up at your hotel, you will be transferred to the departure point in South Perth. Our means of transport: A luxurious Cessna Caravan aircraft! The start so close to the city on the Swan River is a first-class experience. Enjoy the short flight to the island with breathtaking views of and the impressive Perth skyline, the colourful coastline of the Indian Ocean and the holiday island of Rottnest Island. The island awaits you with its raw coastline, limestone cliffs, salt lakes and picturesque coves. Rottnest Island can be explored best by bicycle because the traffic is strictly limited. You will come into contact with a unique flora and faune and of course with those quokkas so well known for this island. In the late afternoon you say goodbye to this interesting nature reserve. Enjoy the crossing back to the mainland and the comfortable and safe trip back up the Swan River to Perth City. Enjoy glorious views along the River. The excursion ends with the transfer back to your hotel.
