Begin your day at Featherdale Wildlife Park, home to a wonderful variety of native Australian animals. See koalas, kangaroos, wombats, dingoes and colourful native birds as you explore the park.

Discover Wentworth Falls on foot

Walking is a highlight of this tour, and we love sharing the tracks and viewpoints that make Wentworth Falls special.

Join your guide to explore fern gullies, tea-tree forests and sandstone overhangs, with waterfall views and sweeping outlooks across the Jamison Valley. Take time to appreciate the landscape, hear about the area and enjoy being immersed in the Blue Mountains.

Your guide will select a suitable route for the conditions and the group.

Enjoy time in Leura

Leura is one of our favourite mountain villages and well worth taking time to enjoy. You’ll have free time to choose lunch at a café, restaurant or bakery, browse the boutique shops, or relax over coffee.

Your guide can suggest places to eat. Depending on the day, there may also be an opportunity to take lunch to the Gordon Falls picnic area.

Lunch is at your own expense.

See the Three Sisters and mountain lookouts

Visit Echo Point for close-up views of the Three Sisters and the vast Jamison Valley. Enjoy time to take photographs and appreciate one of Australia’s most famous landscapes.

Continue along Cliff Drive, with views towards Narrow Neck Plateau and the Megalong Valley. Stops at Cahill’s Lookout and Boars Head offer another perspective on the mountains before we return to Sydney.

The order of stops and walking routes may vary with weather, track conditions and the day’s schedule.

Walking and fitness

A moderate level of fitness is required. You should be comfortable walking on uneven ground, with steps, uphill and downhill sections.

Where conditions and the itinerary allow, your guide can suggest shorter walking options and opportunities to rest. If you have mobility concerns or are unsure whether the walk is suitable, please contact us before booking so we can discuss your needs.

What to bring

Wear comfortable walking shoes with good grip and bring a water bottle, sunscreen and a hat. Pack a warm layer and a rain jacket—the Blue Mountains can be cooler than Sydney, and conditions can change throughout the day.
