Mayura Wagyu Steakhouse Stay, Wine & Dine

Tour Overview

A two night stay built around three things we love about this region: Coonawarra wine, local produce and a proper Wagyu dinner. You stay in our apartment in Penola, join our Coonawarra Unearthed small group wine tour with Simon or Kerry, and we drive you to and from Mayura Wagyu Steakhouse for dinner at the Chef's Table.

• 2 nights in our "A Coonawarra Experience" apartment, a short walk from Penola's main street
• A bottle of Coonawarra wine and Cuvée chocolates on arrival
• A place on Coonawarra Unearthed, our full-day small group wine tour, with a gourmet platter lunch
• 5-course Chef's Table dinner at Mayura Wagyu Steakhouse, with matched local Limestone Coast wines
• Private return transfer to Mayura Wagyu Steakhouse (about 60 km or 45 minutes from Penola)

Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Penola
Check in from 2pm and settle in with your bottle of wine and chocolates. Penola's main street, cafes and historic sites are a short walk away.

Day 2: Coonawarra Unearthed and Mayura Wagyu Steakhouse dinner
Join Coonawarra Unearthed from 11am to 5pm, a small group tour of Coonawarra cellar doors, including Wynns Coonawarra Estate, with a gourmet platter lunch. In the evening we drive you to Mayura Wagyu Steakhouse for the 5-course Chef's Table dinner, then bring you home.

Day 3: Depart
Check out by 10am.
